I haven't totally given up on scandalous. He was decent his first year. I think he's fine for the third pair. Steve Smith just needs to erase whatever Housley was telling him

We got a #5 d-man on a good contract with term for a 2nd rounder 2 years from now and a conditional 5th. He will supply depth. He actually scored extremely well with his corsi rating as well.

Yeah, the cost wasn't too dear and maybe he can find a fit to cover for him, but my point of contention was strictly the top pairing deployment.
