I can't fathom a scenario in which the Islanders would prefer to pay Bobrovsky the kind of money/term he is going to command than Lehner on a short-term deal.

I don't really buy Brighton Beach as a big draw either (not that I think that counts the Isles out). I'm sure Panarin isn't dying to commute on the Belt every day

Florida definitely needs a goalie now, with Luongo officially retiring. They surely aren't going to rely on Reimer. So Bob seems the obvious choice. Hopefully they have to overpay for him, and Panarin signs with the Rangers.
