Yep ... those big contracts can really tie up your hands ... for a long time.

Yes...signing a legitimate first line centre in his prime is what did them in...definitely not signing a 38 year old to a 3 year deal at 6.25 that goes beyond when Matthews and Marner's contracts come up. |
