The letter of intent means that hes linked to Wisconsin only Usa wise. If he doesnt go he has a year of penalty in which he couldnt play. So say he tries the AHL and doesnt like it, he couldnt turn around and go play at the uni of Wisconsin for the rest of the year...thats what i understand from the very few info there is about it online
