Among the teams that reached out to Anders Lee, sounds like the Islanders, Blackhawks, Wild and Avs are in the hunt.

They arent worried, Paccioretty and Reaves probably have their suitcases packed already.

Add Edmonton to the list. They still have to sign 4 players and only have 8M in cap space. It can be done by signing players on cheap contracts. My question is how does a team as bad as the Oilers get in cap trouble. Oh wait Peter Chiarelli was their GM.

Just can't see how Lee is a good idea for what cap money should be spent on. If Lee is looking for $7M - I suppose that can be offset by getting rid of Saad's $6M but I'd rather have Saad's 200' game and PK duty than Lee's better offense.

How did McPhee screw other gm's? He gave them a chance to protect the players they wanted to. They had to give some in return but he could have picked even better players than he did from some teams.

Some big players are going to play in the Chicago Pro League again this summer. Kane, Toews, DeBrincat, Strome and Murphy are going to be joined by prospects Boqvist, Beaudin and Vlassic. I'm not sure if rosters are announced yet but I'm pretty sure I saw some other NHL'ers said they were playing too.

Edit: Here's the website and the (4) team rosters are posted. Don't know if they're finalized yet. I noticed Turcotte is playing but I didn't see Dach listed.
