Don't forget the Sedins

LBR, is the slide rule only for the first year (or years - contracts can slide up to two years) of the ELC? If Joki is stuck in the AHL all year, will he get a slide year? Thanks.

Once a player hits the 10 NHL game mark, his contract can't slide so it doesn't matter if he plays in the AHL all of next season (or went back to Finland or anywhere else).

We have the same fans, we can't afford any top 6 talent, but let's sign top 6 talent then trade top 6 talent away, which makes no sense.

I think I remember him having a brother. Not sure if he's signed and/or still in college, but if so they might be having a bit more patience with the one because there's two.

I wish their players had less term to their contracts so as to take advantage of their situation but everyone of value is signed for too long.

Love Johnson but $5m x 4 years is a long time for a soon to be 29 year old, Killorn is kind of the same being 29 and $4.45 x 4 and he is mostly a 3L player now, Palat has the shortest amount of time left at 3 years but he's had trouble staying healthy which is a big risk for $5.3m a year, Gourde signed another 6 years..

I'd take Paquette right now though - perfect 4C/LW, can't be too much.
