You just had to throw a condition in there, didn't you?

If u wanna take me to Big Gay Ice Cream,
I’d just suggest we meet at a certain Lockport Bar I’ve been hearing about

- jdfitz77

Nah, go to Please Don't Tell. Great speakeasy. Loser buys the Old Fashioneds.

Make peace with the brown liquor, Kaiser would be proud.

After our conversation yesterday absolutely!

I was almost going to make it a 2nd and a 3rd and if the Sabres make the playoffs the 2nd and 3rd becomes a 1st but only if Phil scores a goal in the playoffs

I was upset by the Kessel for Risto and potential 1st rounder trade.

Otherwise, that's probably about right, maybe another trade or two sprinkled in.

I have a thing at work that has me dealing with a guy who - besides his regular job - is also a high level high school hockey coach just outside Minneapolis. He coached against Housely when Phail was at Stillwater High School there.

He said "Housely was an insanely talented NHL defender. He is able to communicate and share ideas with other insanely talented NHL defenders. That's why he was successful in Nashville. But he cant COACH. And he doesn't know SYSTEMS. And he can't teach young kids how to play the game, either in high school or professionally. The high school he coached here got very successful immediately after he left. And when Buffalo hired him, he left the perfect situation for himself in Nashville, where all he had to do was manage an entire stable of other insanely talented NHL defenders."

For what its worth.

McSorely's is a must, especially for a newbie. Beer is not great but atmosphere is A+.

Sure do it.

Also try moving Bogo and 25% retain.

Try to sign Jordie Benn for pair 3.

Oloffson is and has been for the last 2 years a LWer

If they sign Zuc you still need a RWer

What's Kessel up to these days?

Skinner Eichel Kessel
Zuc Mitts Reinhart
Olofsson Erod Nylander
Sheary Larsson Okposo

Hell sign Zuc he has played all 3 forward positions

- Stripes77

Problem is Phil won’t wave to come here. He wants to be in AZ with tochet and to golf and eat teds.

Now can a three way trade be had? What’s AZ got we might be able to steal?

Eh, I would keep Bogo

He should be good to go by November

He isn't bad when healthy (hopefully this is his only injury of the season)

Pilut comes in to play when he is healthy as well and Hunwick goes to the bench (or sun)

It’s why guys like he and Gretzky can’t coach and a guy like Punch or Bowman could.

I’d probably keep him too, unless we could get a good return OR we dumped him cheap to use the Cap Space on a great player

My problem with Bogo is why didn’t he have the surgery earlier?

My problem is BOGO.

Move him for whatever. Get a guy that actually plays 70+ games. (Benn)

Lots of potential reasons: they were trying other treatments, they were seeing if it would heal on its own, it got worse, they had to wait for initial trauma/swelling to subside...
