It's definitely garth
- jcragcrumple

Learning that to be fact would be like a bucket list item for me. I'd rejoice and celebrate and find Jeremy's house in Tonawanda and go party with him and ask him to have Garth come over and we'd jam out to 80's hits all day.

The problem with bringing in guys like Zuccarello, Donskoi, etc...
is that they’re 3rd liners that we will end up playing in the top6

Those are mistakes we don’t need to make
Spend $$$ on top talent
Don’t overpay 2nd & 3rd tier guys

- jdfitz77

I don't know if you noticed, but on the score sheet, our bottom 9 barely existed.

Grapefruit Sculpin ❤️❤️❤️

Stone is probably my favorite brewery overall though

- jdfitz77

Solid choices for national brands. I prefer local craft brews, we have some great breweries around my area. When I was up in Buffalo I thought Hayburner was pretty solid.

no need to go all hipster on us. local brews are good too. there's nothing too exciting around here. 12 gates is pretty good. Resurgence is by far my favorite. Big Ditch is fine. Pressure Drop is fine.

Can't argue that, but we also don't need to pay 3rd liners, top6 forward contracts either. I kind of understand what he's saying on this one.

yes, but no, but yes, but no.

follow?

No one ever wants to overpay. If you're gonna overpay a guy, make sure he's going to be useful for the life of the contract, even if its a mil or 2 more than you want. I'd be fine with Okposo if he put 45 points in per season. It's not great, but he'd still have use.

I went to Resurgence also. I had a flight, all were good. Citmo was my favorite.

I could be wrong, but outside of last year I believe he's been right around 45.

I get it though. Better to pay Brett Connolly a little more to score 20gs/30a than pay someone else getting 12g/15a, 1 million less for 1 year less, calling it a win. Kind of hoping we don't sign many, if any, long term FA deals (5 or more yrs).

Most breweries are awesome places to hang, some make good beer, some don't. But I still prefer the brewery vibe to the bar vibe, even if the beer is just ok.
