Does he skate well?
- Chris16

Looked ok to me. The part I watched didn't have them going full bore so it was hard to get a read on speed

Didn't backread everything, so, sorry if you've already been asked:

Who stood out to you? My buddy said he's liked Borgen a lot thus far. Thoughts?

I only went to group 1 yesterday, but Murray and Ogelvie looked good for the forwards - not really sure you can read into that.

Laaksonen and Borgen both looked good. Borgen's shot looked heavy and Laaksonen is all kinds of smooth skating

something to chew on...UFA Dan Girardi is at Sabres development camp watching with his family...maybe a potential depth signing...if they move a D-man via trade

I'd throw a mid pick at Vegas to get the rights to Nikita Gusev

Bryan Yoon was also noticable from time to time. He looks fast but was not a technically sound skater

FYI - B's had only 4 Canadians and 13 Americans. Maybe a few more Canadians and they win game 7?

Here was this season's breakdown across the league:
43.5% Canadian
28.6% American
9.7% Swedes
4.9% Finns
4.0% Czechs
3.9% Russians
+/- 5% Other

Is there anyone who isn't gross to you?

The (frank)ing guy has been a minus player THREE TIMES in his career.

You know, the same stat many on here rip Risto on.

I think I remember reading that they year they won the Cup in 2011, they had the most Canadian players of any NHL team.

I assume a Risto Trade is coming as son as Buffalo signs two d-men.

Girardi and Stralman.

Then trade Bogo/Scandella and Risto.

The Blues were mostly Canadian, but that's not important right now

Or you sign him to a 1 year cheap deal let him ride on 3rd pair and teach guys like Dahlin, Pilut and McCabe and any other young guy who will be here.

But you know, he’s old. We now have age restrictions on who Buffalo can sign. 🤦‍♂️

I assume if the Blues offered Jay-Bo for cheap as a cap dump you wouldn’t want him either, right?
