so MB has a lot a cap space, but is not ready to spend it on a long term ufa, since he thinks he'll need the space to re-up domi and others.
the only other solution is then to trade for a cap dump like horton. only one year, get a pick with him.
am I wrong here?

that also means this team will get better from the inside or via trades. be patient!

I agree with this. I know the Habs met with Duchene today, but I don’t see the long term need to sign him.
