No it's not, it's just that the moves sometimes work only for one team

Kessel - pens
Duchene - avs
Seguin - Stars
ROR - Blues

I can go on and on. If this GM is shell shocked from a bad trade, and is unwilling to make a trade, then he needs to go. The team needs help. Doing nothing isn't a plan, it's autopilot. And that's not what a GM gets hired to do

We both agreed on that but it's over and done. The question is what to do now, and as far as I'm concerned, "nothing" isn't an answer

last summer there was 6 nhl trades in july and august combined

Sure, if you are a team like Tampa or Toronto who are already stacked...Oh wait they are still trying to get better now.

Buffalo was one of the worst teams in the league last year. They went on an all time historically bad stretch. They were the worst team in the league after December.

Yeap don’t make a move though, it’s the right decision.
