It's mathematically impossible to keep all the RFAs and Nylander on the forwards and bring in anyone, let alone Stralman, Manson. Even Hainsey is gone in that scenario. If we assume that, for any given fanbase, the ratio of unique fans on Hockeybuzz to average home game attendance is a universal constant, then we can deduce the correct number of Sens fans on these boards is probably 4-5.

So they are all alts of Spatso, Doppelganger, AlfieisaWelcher and 1 or 2 more.

People who pointed out the cap problems conclude we would have like 7 or 8 players 1M or under. Your roster bears this out.

Maybe that works out just fine, but having 1/3 of your roster under 1M sounds like a lot of potential issues in the lineup

Why are some of you turning on Marner, who is a home grown talent that we haven’t seen in decades, lives and loves the Leafs, projects to be a top 10pt player in the league for years to come... That's a cap hit as it pertains to the calculation for offer sheets only. His salary cap hit is still the salary he'd agree to.

While I'm pretty sure the Leafs would walk away from $14m, I wonder where they walk away? I think the absolute top-end if you're the Leafs (and you want to push it) is probably $11 million. That gets into the realm of stupid.

I'll start to worry if Marner isn't signed by July 7th.

Between free agency, bonus payouts and the dust settling around the league, a lot could start to fall into place for the Leafs once we get by these few things.
