I miss those days. Nothing like having your teammates lifting you upside down and chugging beer from a keg. I got up to 20 seconds and had beer coming out my nose. It was glorious! ☺

Yeah, man. Keg stands were pretty amazing. Were my body not a (frank)ing mess, I'd love to keep going like younger me used to.
IMO I don't see T.O looking much different at the start of next year as they did in October 2018.
I also don't think things are as dire as they are made out to be here.
I think the forwards are basically set and as much as people don't like it - it'll look familiar:

Assuming Marner signs at 9.5 and Johnsson 3.4, Kappy at 3.3 **
** Per Brian Burke Leafs have offered Marner 8X10M - the dollar amount wasn't a problem but it was too much term for Marner, so if he comes in at 9.5 X 6 is reasonable. Kappy 3.2-3.4, Johnsson 3.25-3.5 per Bob McKenzie, so I have them in at 3.3 and 3.4.
I don't trade Kadri - since I don't see many 30G guys costing 4.5M. He's a steal - just has got smarten the hell up in the playoffs. I can see him having a bounce back year after eating 2 straight playoff bonehead moves all summer.
I don't trade Brown unless you can get Brandon Tanev or Brett Connolly at something close to their '18 salary (Connolly 1.55M, Taney 1.15M)
I don't trade Zaitsev, b/c I don't see an upgrade on RD unless we can dump him for picks and pick up A. Stralman for similar or less than his current 4.5 I do that - for little to no term.
The above leaves about 1M free to fill out the last spot on D and I try and get Jordi Benn at 1M from Montreal.
I don't see any way Rosen doesn't start the year with the big club and Benn / Stralman actually know how to play D, which is fine since we don't need a ton of offence form the D corps.
Goalies:
Freddie / Sparks
It's gross I admit... but Sparks was the best goalie in the minors 2 years ago, give him Oct/Nov to see what he's got when he plays a little more than once every 3 weeks. If he is still garbage then pick up some other backup goalie who is waived or otherwise made available as always happens.
He hasn't played that well since that day.
Especially since his 2nd shoulder injury.

The deke through the whole team gif is reserved for his first year in the league, and a bit after that, but he really hasn't been near as dominant in some time. Just had pins removed a month ago. I'm just hoping he can play more than 65 games this year.

Not really unless it was bottom 2 last year.
Addition by subtraction with Z and Gardiner for me.
Dermott, when ready, is only going to be better. Adding Stralman over Z is better, Muzzin over Gardiner is better, with one REAL #2/3 RHD...our D could not be worse.
