Frolik is always the answer. He makes perfect sense, he’s got one year left on his deal and he’s a stellar defensive forward. He can contribute some offense as well, likely 15 goals and 30-35 points.

Imo opinion it is when playoffs come around big physical forward i only mention reeves because he might be a player vegas has to.move. i m sure there other players that fit that bill using him and eakin as examples if players that would fill needs hawks are lacking. I think the d is set just have figure out combinations.

I think it is getting to the point that the strategy of letting them sign elsewhere, and taking the compensation is going to be a move some GMs are going to have to take.

RFAs are now holding teams ramson (Leafs) and putting them in CAP Hell. GMs will have to let some sit out or move them out. It is the only way to get a hold on your financial structure and send the message that you won't be walked over.

You can say Stan overpaid his players , sure, but at least the Hawks do things with style like signing Kane and Toews simultaneously. Look at the poop show in Toronto how could you not sign Matthews and Marner at the same time.

Reaves minutes actually dropped in the playoffs for Vegas and then he only played in 10 games during their run in 2018, though. How useful is a player to a coach that gets their minutes dropped below their already low 10 min a night and then they don't even want him for more than half the games?
