So you like Schneider or Kinkaid over Hart? Lundqvist is how old? No guarantee Hart improves, but I ll take that chance. Are you assuming the addition of Subban and Trouba is guaranteed to having a greater impact on those teams defense over another yr of experience for Provy, Sanheim, and Myers. We ll see how the season plays out. - ravishingone
Devils have their own young goalie that played pretty well last year. |

but the flyers couldnt beat the Devils when they were icing an AHL team. Now add Hall, Subban and probably Hughs - KINGKENZO
so you must be in the corner that all the Flyers below 25 have hit their peak currently on the roster. I guess that s a possibility.

CUT THE MUSIC
Im saying that they had a hard time with them last year when Hall missed a lot of time and the Devils were awful. The flyers, even considering overall growth arent adding players equivalent to Hall and Subban. Odds are, they will still give them fits. Logic

I don’t as added a top 4 dman. As said earlier now you have 2 very good pairs. Pk should be improved. Provorov and Sanhiem needed help |

Hall=2 good seasons and sympathy votes to win the MVP. Subban 3rd team already? Seriously not all that. |

511 points in 562 games is not just from 2 good seasons.
And why was Subban traded 2x already?
I think the Flyers should be better than the Devils but unfortunately the Flyers have struggled with the Devils. |

What's there to argue about?
Either team could end up as this season's Islanders, or end up back in the lottery, irrespective of what they've done this summer. All it takes is cumulative injuries, some player regression, and bad luck. We know that all too well after 18-19. |

Raffl signing was a good one for multiple reasons
Now with 3 right-hand shooting d-man it is even better
Just sign Laughton to a good contract so that he is happy and Raffl-Laughton is a solid
4th line pair |

I agree they are not to a point.
His point I believe, and I agree, is that a team who is not a contender should not be spending to the cap limit the way they are. - MBFlyerfan
while I like cap space, I don't mind the way Fletch is using it, sure we think he coulod have done better inside of each trade or signing, easy for us to say. Short term deals besides Hayes and Hayes filled a big need that had to be filled.GM's have shown they can trade contracts and yeah, maybe the Flyers will have to use a sweetner to move a contract at some point but they were always going to get to this point. A point where they had to try to step forward. They can try this season without hurting the kids coming and crippling the cap.
I see JVR going in expansion |

if healthy he puts up 30 this season, they should add a sweetner to keep Seattle away from our D, just a reality of expansion. |

He's put up around 30 a year going back to 13-14. I can see them having interest. |

they'll need players who can score. Does anyone recall what impact the last expansion had on the CAP? |

Disagree as I think Raffl is a viable fourth line player.
It's when he is asked to spend games at a time on the first line that we have issues. |
