It’s tough to project how any of the mid rounders in 2018 will do but I like Samuelsson and Pekar looks like an NHL player to me even if he’s just a 4th line pest.

Mittelstadt and Cozens are the two most important players to our teams success moving forward here.

I personally think his 2017 draft was one of the best by any team in the NHL. Mittelstadt will be a really good player, Davidsson will be a major player on his SHL team this year and will be a bottom 6 cog on this team for years to come, UPL just won every award you could think of in the OHL, Bryson was an overager but looks to be an NHL player we found in the 4th round and Weissbach will be a key player for Wisconsin this year as a 6th round pick.

In 2018 we grabbed Samuelsson who has the look of a 4-6 guy at the NHL level after another year of college and a year in Rochester. We shocked the world taking Laaksonen in the 3rd round then he proceeded to have one of the better season by an U20 d-man in recent history.

To me Botts’ Frank up to date was the ROR deal but everything else he has done has been great for our long term projections as a franchise although it may take a little longer then people like.

I think Mitts has a bit to prove this year. 5 points in 6 games to end the 17-18 season might have given him the false assumption that the NHL was gonna be easy for him.

But on the bright side, this is the last year of his ELC. So he will be more motivated than ever to produce.

The Toffoli deal is dreadful. If whoever created it is a Sabres fan they should know what happens to a players point totals and plus/minus when their team is a sinking ship.

His expected goals and possession numbers were still elite, on a good team he has a career year.

They may sell low on him cause they're dumb/desperate or can't get him signed, but there a beer league players who would fetch a better return than sobotka and a 2nd.

He’s American what did you expect. Only Canadians actually put their blood, sweat, and tears into the sport unless it’s Patrick Kane who is from Buffalo which is essentially an extension of Canada for the most part

Unless he's got an obvious preferred destination, I think LA would let him pre negotiate to maximize trade value if they can't sign him themselves.
