Not me. The only thing I really liked better about living in Vegas was the weather.
Nevada however is another state with no income tax, so you would think if signing for $6m in Vegas you would have to offer $7.5m to come to Buffalo.

And yes, he rightfully justified that unless you're getting a sure fire talent out of the C, it's much more worth drafting outside of it because of the extra development years that these kids clearly need.

Most recent example, Cliff Pu. We liked him as a prospect, had to sign him based on his current trajectory at the time, sent him on his way to Carolina, went to the ECHL. Had he been a non CHL player, he'd have cooked at least for one more year, and the team would be able to decide, is this kid worth signing. Same with Brycen Martin, Vaclav Karabacek, Eric Cornel. Useless signings.

With most things, if the term is reasonable, he'd be really solid. He's the kind of player Botts and Ralph want in the locker room. And on the ice.

You don't know what the cap is going to be. And what is "all in"? He's 35+, so if one day in like, say, 3 years, he gets a degenerative back disease and his skin starts falling off, you're big time on the hook

before 2011 was ugly. Things have improved since then, overall.

I personally think his 2017 draft was one of the best by any team in the NHL. Mittelstadt will be a really good player, Davidsson will be a major player on his SHL team this year and will be a bottom 6 cog on this team for years to come, UPL just won every award you could think of in the OHL, Bryson was an overager but looks to be an NHL player we found in the 4th round and Weissbach will be a key player for Wisconsin this year as a 6th round pick.

In 2018 we grabbed Samuelsson who has the look of a 4-6 guy at the NHL level after another year of college and a year in Rochester. We shocked the world taking Laaksonen in the 3rd round then he proceeded to have one of the better season by an U20 d-man in recent history.

To me Botts’ Frank up to date was the ROR deal but everything else he has done has been great for our long term projections as a franchise although it may take a little longer then people like.

love the irony, but that's just how the top 10 fell. when you're that high in the draft, you're basically guaranteeing you're signing that kid before the two year deadline.

Does the over 35 contract mean the age at the time the contract is signed or the age at the start of the season? Pavelski turns 35 on July 11th.
