That's center, Karl "Henriksson" in their overall pick #58.

Can't wait to see Ek put that on the board listing himself as the source.

Scorpion venom is an all natural amphetamine. Gets him around the league substance abuse policy.

Reading the reports and looking at some limited videos, I am starting to think that Henriksson is Zuc 2.0

Why are there so many meth heads in AZ then? They got the biggest free source and they don't even know it

I was only trying to get you to pronounce his name correctly, whereby I know you would then spell it correctly. That's because many besides Dave Reid, including draft experts and team scouts feel that despite his small size, Henriksson has the skills and smarts to be on their pro roster a lot sooner than expected. Some have mentioned him to be a slight lesser version of Johnny Gaudreau as far as his smarts, and play making abilities.

Edit: Here's an easy way to remember Karl's last name:
Take those two Swedish friends in Lundqvist and Erik Karlsson.
Karl's last name consists of Lundqvist's proper first name, followed immediately by the last 4 letters in Karlsson.

I feel that Hayes would have sought that same 7 year/$50M contract from any team other than the Rangers if reaching free agency, and A.V. pressed the Flyers front office to meet his demands, in knowing his two way multi role contributions he would bring them.

A.V. also knew that Hayes would accept slightly less to re-sign with the Rangers, should he be their alternative off season target. The two parties were not that far apart in dollars and term, prior to the Rangers trading him to the Jets. The Rangers problem was that he was already earning $5.175M last season with them. So his initial lower asking price to return to NY instead, would have likely been between $6M to $6.5M over 7 years, prior to any Rangers counter offer of the dollars &/or years term.

Think this helps with the Kreider cost? If a 30 g scorer is going for 6...

I don’t think Kreider will take anything under 6. My guess is he wants around 6.5-7

Since we all love this topic:

How important is it Vegas has no state income tax?

On a $5.9M/yr deal William Karlsson will take home an estimated $3.75 million after taxes in Vegas.

If he signed the same deal in other cities this is what he’d bring home:

TOR/MTL: $2.77M
LA/ANA/SJ: $2.99M
NY: $3.02

The cap hit in the city above would have to be $8m for him to take home the same amount after taxes on the Vegas deal.

This will 100% be discussed next CBA

Regarding Vegas and Karlsson agreeing on a proposed 8 x $6 deal ----- that looks like a steal of a contract for the Knights.
My question is: How can they sign him when they are already OVER the cap? I know you get to be 10% over for summer, but they still have to move out some major $$$ and still come up with some money for Gusev. Do we see any possible Rangers trades with Golden Knights if we miss on Panarin??

Seems odd they’d deal him after he signed a long term deal, but I’d love to get Alex Tuch to take Kreiders place in the event he gets moved. But they do need to shed something on the books

Pretty sure he’s been a 3rd line guy there, w/ 52 pts in that spot, with our forwards he could be a 65-70 pt guy in the top 6.

It's a bit deceiving though because only half of the games are played in other cities/states and they do have Xtra taxes taken out when they are on the road
