The term scares me the most. I know I’d try to go under 7, but in a world where Hayes is getting over 7, I don’t think it’s an enormous stretch if he got that. Plus, you got another season of people resetting the market before the contract is signed.

That's why he should be locked up on the odd chance we don't get Panarin. Agree the term scares me, but these guys know they are in their prime and want to get paid. If he wants to stay here offer 7x5 and NONMC! I would love to keep Kreider, with that rib in a shrine in TPC's bedroom, he seems stronger and has taken more of a leadership role. Still think he has PTSD from the Price Incident, if he gets out of his own head he could be the power forward we think he could be.

Leaving Miller out of it, would you rather trade Nam for a 2nd or so or keep him as a 4C

If Panarin isn't coming, then cap isn't really an issue this year, So i say keep him. He's good two way player and can help with Ruskie kids. Gotta has some vets

I like Stinky, and he was a Ranger Killer during that playoff series, but he is a completely replaceable player with the perceived forward depth we have. Trade his ass!

Stinky and Fast are replaceable, pt wise, but no guarantee the returns bring their intagibles, especially Fast.

That's why I would rather move Stinky that Quickie. Dodged a bullet on Vegas taking Lindberg.

Oh yeah. To think Oscar was one of NYRs "elite" prospects a few years ago. Wow things have changed

Rangers did about as well as anyone in the Vegas expansion draft

if Vegas had selected Grabner we wouldn't have Rykov right now

I wonder what his chances of making the team is this year. I guess if Smith and or SHatty is gone it's improved, but not a given for sure.

I think the d prospects are better than we think. We’re STACKED back there.

Rykov can play. I can see him being the 7 guy this year if S/S is gone

Again, you just wonder if he will wind up as an odd man out. Gotta figure 20-21 Miller might push to make the team. We really don't know how Tarmo and/or Keane will shake out. Maybe Lindgren is preferred in a third pairing role eventually. Even guys like Day could be wild cards.

Think Miller will be going back to college and Lundkvist will be going to wherever he goes in Sweden. Next year they will make a push to be on the team or with the Pack

I would say at least 40 games in Hartford to get acclimated to smaller ice surface

Maybe I drank the blue kool-aid today, but I really think Miller will go straight from college to making the pro roster when he turns pro. He really stood out last year. As long as he improves this year and proves that he can handle a heavy load, I have no doubt he will be playing at the garden from day 1. I think if he isn't ready, he'd just stay in college another year.
