Straaus Aaltonen is better

What about Jordache?

It’s probably not good that he was ranked in rd 2, then after awhile he was in 5-6-7 rds

as long as everyone is looking ahead, how about that Barkov guy becoming a UFA in 2022
- jimbro83

Makes a ton of sense, especially if they sign Paranin.

Florida Panthers feel a lot like the Marlins. I sense a fire-sale coming eventually.

You can tell how bad cap situations are when Trouba and Subban net gains are a first, 2 seconds and Neal Pionk. Oofah, that’s some bad returns

There has to be another guy the rangers can target like that

I think Toronto wants immediate top 4 help on the blue line.

Vegas is the next team up that's ripe for the picking. I saw something over the weekend speculating that they were likely going to be trying to move Pacioretty or Stastny to accommodate Karlsson's new deal.

I wouldn’t mind Tuch, but he has a pretty good contract now. Doubt they’d move him

Anyone know what number Kaapo will be wearing? I'm seeing 3 prominent numbers he's worn in recent years - 24, 34, and 54.

Thanks in advance.

It depends. Do we want soft, lazy, me-first, expensive talent in the way of our prospects as we turn the page on the rebuild?

Yeah I don't think there's a chance they move him. He's young and is probably primed for a major breakout season this year. My prediction is that he's got a top 10 or 15 contract in the NHL in the next couple years.

Yes they are. Ive messed around with armchair GM where we land both. Sending Kreider, Lias, Shattenkirk (half retained)... something of that sort.

Seems like too many moving parts when they just need to clear space and that is a TON of money for the Rangers to take on. If I had to pick one that I think the Rangers would have interest in, it's probably Stastny. Not saying I think they do/will want him, but if I had to pick between him and Patches...it's him. Only two years left at a reasonable number and he'd be a good middle-six guy to let them ease Kravstov in in a smaller role.
