So then.. do we put Greene with Subban? Smith with Vatanen? Butcher with Severson? Carrick and Mueller as extras? Wouldn't be a terrible thing. It might be best to balance out the minutes a bit so Greene and Vats don't get too worn down.

It's kind of amazing that in 3 years we've gained a top line LW, 1a/1b centers, a seemingly solid young goalie, and now an actual top-pairing dman, with another very good dman in Vatanen still on board. Go back one more year and we're talking about adding a top 6 24y/o RW in Palmieri. Of course there was some lotto luck involved, but still.

JT Miller is anothrr one yeah he is a decent player but he should of been a sweetener why are they getting such good value on their cap relief of is it not as good as it might seem ? I really thought some of these teams where going ti be (frank)ed and losing good players to teams with ample cap and I am feeling that these cap strapped teams have gotten off pretty easy so far no ?

Tootoo was a class act for us. Tiny guy with a world of heart and just fearless. I remember the poop kicking it took from reaves but he didnt complain or back down jist went to work.

Did anyone else get a little fired up watching the beating the boys let Mikey Mcleod get against some plug on the panthers. I mean props for standing up for yourself kid but you did nothing wrong and we let a first rounder get throttled it was almost sickening the way he ate shots but still hung in there. That to me summed up the entire season.

Loved when Nico stood up to Brouwer when he shoved Blackwood but again how do you let a guy do that to youre goalie for free pretty much and why is it up to Nico and other skill guys to do the standing up lol be nice to not see guys like Rupp and Brouwer be allowed to walk into the crease and shove our goalies lol

Its hard to win when you lack skill but its even harder when you are intimidated by youre apponent and judging by the amount of times i watched heads go straight down and turn away I would say we are a pretty intimidated squad.

It’s a legit concern but its hard to complain with how improved this team has been in the last few years. I mean we’ve lost an assload of games but the roster is young, fast and skilled.

Adding some toughness and balance things out should be a lot easier then adding guys like Taylor Hall and PK Subban. Trust Ray Ray. And be thankful for good days like this.

I agree and I think Subban brings some nasty and wont be pushed around.

I mentioned it before that I would love to see Reaves added knowing he is an upgrade on Gabriel and we wont necessarily be competing right away so it wont hurt to dress a guy like that for a year or two till some of the lighter players have confidence doing what they do.

I would also love Tuch and Cernak but I doubt Tampa would move him with him being cheap talent apposed to the expensive talent they will look to out first ( Miller )
