Lavoi was out there still as well.

Basically to translate that to Team Negative speak.. Anyone the Flyers didn't draft was out there and better.

Most mocks had brink mid to late 1st round so nothing to keep crying about like little children.

Make up your mind, youre mad we didnt draft a tiny player, then mad we drafted a tiny player.

just kind of dumb to pass on caufield to only take less talented similar size player later

Flyers trade up and get Bobby Brink, a player that was scouted as 1st round talent by many. Way to go Fletch..... adding a RW a position that was needed on the depth chart.

That has nothing to do with what I said but alright.

Not a fan of undersized players which to me is anything below 5'7.

Liked the draft up until the Brink pick as I wish they would have gotten a bit bigger.

Is there really a difference between 5'6" and 5'8"? what's the difference? I've stood next to Briere before and could not believe how small he was. I think he had an ok career. Caufield is going to play with such a chip on his shoulder between being doubted for his size and dropping in the draft. I have no doubt he's going to be a legit goal scorer at the NHL level.

Brink apparently has more hockey iq and better defensively. He is definitely skilled with slick hands, passing, and a nice shot. His only concerns are his skating and his size.

Also, Ghost's value is probably not nearly what we thought it was if that's what Subban just got moved for. I still expect Hagg or Morin to be moved tho.

- hereticpride

Subban has a 9M cap hit compared to Gostisbehere's 4.5M. Looking at the Marleau move and the Subban trade and we can see what the cost is to clear cap.

He’s 5’10”. Caufield is 5’6”. Give me a break. Whatever fits your narrative bro. Stick to the Sharks bud.
- Flyers1218

Where do you get your information? Caufield is 5'7" 163lbs and Brink is 5'8 165lbs. Better players available for that 2nd round pick than a short guy that can't skate. Brutal.

All his first round exits in Minnesota say otherwise.

I can’t believe the flyers picked such a hack in the third round. Fire Fletch now!

The flyers never do anything right. What don’t you get? They lost the subban trade and it didn’t even have anything to do with them.

Not to mention that the 2nd round and later is when you take players that may have a lot of skill but knocks against them such as size.

do you not grasp the flyers had york rated higher than Caufiled? has nothing to do with then taking Brad Brink.
