I think the trade is all right for the Preds. They cut so much salary and they still have 4 great dmen in Josi - Ekholm - Ellis and Fabbro

Leafs deal away another first. Would it not have made more sense to keep Marleau for his final year and deal Kapanen for high pick and then be able to keep his own first. Almost every other team is putting much more emphasis on keeping picks so they can have a few players on entry level deals. Not Dubas. Tavares deal strikes again.
