You think so in round 1?

Virtanen over Nylander miss
Juolevi over tkachuk miss
Petey over Glass win
Hughes probably a win
Podkolzin over boldy to be determined

1st pick round 1 like i saidnbasically 50 50

- Jkuzzi

I’m looking forward to seeing who ends up on the invite list for Canucks development camp. From Trent Cull’s interview on @Sportsnet650 yesterday, it sounded like there could be a few NCAA kids there for a look. Gotta think Van/Utica are keeping their eyes open for a C or two.

1st pick round 1 like i said basically 50 50

Mccann you can add as a maybe I guess amd Boeser an obvious win of were taking second picks of the round as well

Boeser 23rd huge win
Petey the steal of the draft
Hughes a D the likes we have never seen
OJ TBD
POD NHL ready if not on a contract
JV remains to be seen & not 7m

The quality is much better than 50/50

There first round selections outside the top 3 don't seem to be that good.
- manvanfan

Doesn't seem to matter when you pick Namisnakov R1 then Kucherov in R2
DeAngelo R1, Point R3 or Koekkoek with the 10th and Vasilevskiy at 19

Then Verhaeghe and Barre Boulet just end up in the system - great consolation prizes.

I’m expecting a few F’s go & a run on D & 1 goalie go in the 32-42 range.

I think Ott, Dat, Car, Ed, Ana go Forwards and LA, NJ, Car go D - leaving us with Vlasic, Honka or Kokkonen

Boldy

- Nucker101

Didn't really want Boldy or Vpod...wanted Soderstrom. But it is what it is.

Hopefully this kid pans out and isn't another wing nut Russian we don't need.

Warming up to this Russian.

Anyone know if he can attend youngstars/training camp or does his contract forbid it?

Disagree but we'll see. The more I read on this Russian kid he seems good and should have went higher. But a good skating RHD would have been nice. Oh well.

I have Sutter Sven Hutton Marky up for trade bait.

Sutter is redundant
Sven replacable
Hutton needs a new address
Marky while he has good value

Everyone says skating is his knock but he says he is going to continue to work on it. I think his skating is decent but could still improve a ton. His vision is my knock. Slow to see the play develop. Don’t know if you can improve that but he can drive the play and is solid both ways. Also he scores goals.
