Baseball reference was where i looked. Must have looked at it wrong.

You did. I have Cease on my dynasty fantasy baseball team so I know him well. He has been pretty suspect of late. I know Charlotte is a tough place to pitch, but he has lost his command a little bit. That's got him in trouble at times in the past and it's why Cubs fans say he's destined for the pen. Personally, I think it's just a bit of a funk. Kid has electric stuff, period. No need to rush him.

I have not watched a full Islanders game ever , probably but it aure does seem like anders Lee scores a TON of goals from the crease And i love that . Love that.

Would help with some met front presence and on the Power Play

Plus hes a Captain, thats not the be all end all but may be a nice add.

I think UNTIL his last 3 starts, he was on his way to Chicago. This tailspin started when Hahn decided to mouth off about when they would bring him up. Just STFU. Let the kid pitch and when it's time, call him up.

Baseball is mental and I am sure Dylan was thinking about coming to the bigs. This dude has a high 90s heater, a Dwight Gooden esque curve and a change that's developing. Keep it clean between his ears.

Time will tell chief. We can only hope for the best. Not a situation where he had a better deal to trade Sharp and didn't but settled on a lesser deal.
- BGKarras

As mentioned, that was heresay from the former blogger. Also, your wondering why Stan hasn't punched on these situations because people pounced on the Hawks and took advantage around this time?

The Sharp deal happened after the draft and so did the Leddy deal. The second didn't happen til just before that season (2015) started.

Signing forwards to be paid most of their contract in the 30's rarely is a good move. Pass. Hossa is the only forward I can think of that signed a big contract at around the same age that was successful.

Hey wolf hope everything is okay with you bud. I do believe that Stan does work hard and I'm not saying he doesn't. Back when we were in Cap Hell it didn't take long for other GM's to take advantage of our situation. I was hoping he would have been able to have done something already. I could be wrong and something might happen tomorrow or whenever. Its just way too quiet with our Hawks

If I was Stan I would not have done any of the deals. We couldn’t t afford Subban, Marleau is being bought out, that is $6.25 against the cap, but unlike LTIR you cannot accrue cap space overage, and JT Miller for a first, as much as I like Miller is a little too rich for me.

reports are knights are close to a LT deal with karlsson for about 7 mil...

that puts them 8 mil over the 81.5 mil cap with 17 players signed...

my gawd they have to shed 13-15 million to have those remaining roster spots filled by ELC type contracts...

purging eakin, stasny and reaves opens up about 13 mil...and they can't take any contract back in return...

HOLY poop...one helluva mess...no wonder stanbow is sniffing around...

my guess a deal will be had..

Hearsay or not - Leddy (yes, just before the next season started)and Sharp (at the end of July, IIRC) - both weren’t moved until after other teams had already solved their needs for them.

I think you have to strike early in the free agency period or you wind up with a much reduced market.
