I’m good with those deals then I would add a sweetener to Loui and ship him to Ottawa since they need to hit the floor anyways

Maybe ship Loui and a sweetner for Pageau ? |

Didn’t Andreas Athanasiou try that last year? I don’t think it worked out to well for him but yes time will tell on that front.....if he gets some value for JP then he did his job.....for once I’m not worried about something stupid happening - RatedR80
I'm still worried, but a tad less so. I'd love to see him trade back twice and pick up an extra two picks to use on acquiring a roster player. #8 and Russell for #12, #73 and Pateryn, then #12 for #19 and #83. Gives us #19, #38, #73, #83, #85 and #100 which, based on aggregated industry draft rankings, could net us something akin to Tomasino/Heinola, Grewe, Beckman, Keppen, Attard and Murray. |

Keppen and or Kolyachonok would be fantastic additions to the team at least those are the guys I like in the second round |

Keppen is an interesting case. He's already filled out so you question how much will translate (ala Curtis Hamilton), but he's also scoring at such a strong rate on a terrible Flint team. Contrary to many young players of his size, his skating isn't a weakness and he doesn't sacrifice two-way play. He's a medium ceiling, low floor guy that brings all the elements of a modern day powerforward.
It's easy to sit and say "it's the coke machine search all over again", but I think Keppen's case is different. Certain stats stand out even without considering his team's tumultuous situation. See the following:
First and foremost, Keppen is considered a goal scorer. But I think his playmaking abilities are underrated. Of his 23 assists to date this season, 18 of them are primary assists, third only to Arthur Kaliyev (20) and Philip Tomasino (21) and tied with Ryan Suzuki among draft eligible players. His primary assists to assists (78.2%) is second among all players next to fellow draft eligible Connor McMichael (82.7%). |

Not at all, lord knows we need one. I'd aim a different direction, but I can see why you'd aim the way you do. I'd go:
Trade #1:
New York - McLeod and #100
Edmonton - Vesey
Trade #2:
Vancouver - Lucic
Edmonton - Eriksson
Trade #3:
New Jersey - Puljujarvi
Edmonton - Wood
Trade #4 (post-July 1st):
Ottawa - Eriksson (1.25mil retained) and Bear
Edmonton - Pageau
Usual 1st line
Vesey- RNH- (2020 1st+ for top 6 W)
Wood- Pageau- Donskoi
Nygard- Khaira- Currie |

I think he is going to be a good NHL player....I’m not saying a slam dunk top 6 guy but there is the potential for that and it’s one I would certainly take a shot on.....even if not top 6 in the end I could see a solid 3rd line kind of guy

Oh I was meaning to ask you.....let’s say Byram slips to the Avs.....could we sway them into a deal and if so what’s the cost besides the 8th overall pick?

Something pretty substantial. They seem like they're looking to compete now so it'd have to be something that helps their roster now and what they need is largely what we lack (top-6 scoring). Maybe you could craft a deal around #8 and Klefbom for #4 and Zadorov? Might even take a touch more from our end. Not sure how they feel about Zaddy compared to Klefbom, but that would be a direction I'd entertain.
Klefbom- Johnson
Cole- Barrie
Girard- Makar
While still getting a high-end F at #8.
Nurse- Pateryn
Zadorov- Larsson
Sekera- Benning
With Byram breaking thru the system in short order.
The only other options being a deal involving Nuge and I'm not sure we could take that hit. |

I was going to say Klef but I thought I would get hanged but yeah I would pay that price easily in order to get Byram....I didn’t think I would even be talking about it but I’m convinced the Hawks take Turcotte at 3 so it does open the door a crack

If it means getting Byram, I'd happily move Klefbom. I might even move Nurse, though adding the #8 pick might be a bit much for me then. |

I'm partial to this:
"I never see him at home and when I go to the rink, he is not there either. I think he is having an affair, Wife #4 2017 "
And his stat line:
"69 69 0 69 699 33 | Playoffs 6 6 9 15 43 9" |

I will reserve judgment until until we see how he runs a draft and his first few trades. - Reveen.
Well, hopefully, he makes the most of this opportunity. |
