I'm more concerned how Holland shapes the pro roster. - Reveen.
Yeah the draft is nice but that’s for the future and we know Holland won’t play guys right away....it’s all about the Oilers as they are now and it needs work |

The three trades I listed earlier...
Lucic, Benning and Pulju out.... Eriksson, Brown and Wallmark in.
Sign Tanev from Winnipeg, Donskoi from San Jose and Dzingel from Columbus.
Draisaitl / McDavid / Brown
Dzingel / RNH / Donskoi
Eriksson / Wallmark / Tanev
Khaira / Gagner / Kassian

You could also try and flip Loui to the Sens as well which saves more cap....with the right sweetener of course.....need a back up goalie...I would pursue one of the Canes FA goalies

I’m just thinking Ottawa because they need to hit the floor and just make it worth their while |

I might have been wrong on the Broberg/CHL situation.....I need a CHL guru to clarify things....some say he isn’t available and some say he is |

"I gotta sign a goaltender or acquire a goaltender. I'm looking for some cheaper forwards that can play. At the same time, I think we'd like to get a guy that can be playing in our top-six if possible."
Ken Holland after the draft |

2nd: N. Robertson, Fagemo or Grewe
3rd: Keppen, Cajkovic or Rybinski
4th: Cajka or Attard
I'd be disappointed if they picked Leason, Kaliyev, Lavoie or another Dman at #38. Adding another pick to facilitate adding another name from this list would be appealing, but not a priority. |

Holland says he's eligible so I'll trust him. |

I wouldn’t be shocked if our 2nd round pick ended up being Dorofeyev |

If Kreider is available like reported I want us going after him hard.
Yamamoto + Bear/Lagesson + 2019 2nd to start with. |

He's in the same category as Zucker for me, just without the term. I'd offer the 2020 1st+. |

He could have probably moved down and grabbed another 2nd round pick and got him, but I think Seiders going to be a good player. People are talking like it wasn’t a good draft for dmen, but I think that’s false. It was just a great draft for forwards, especially center. Byram, Seider, Broberg, Soderstrom, those guys are going to have legit NHL careers. |

He’s worth it. I’ve admired his game for a long time. There are few players with his size, speed, hitting, and hands. He would look amazing with Draisaitl and McDavid on the top line or with Nuge on the second line. |

This. - smellmyfinger
Too much risk. I’d rather go for a Swede, Finn, American, or Canadian. Way less risk. |

Yeah, these non compete rules with the KHL contracts put a damper on drafting Russian, I wouldn’t draft one unless it’s a guy who came over already and played in the CHL. |
