What are we supposed to say instead of retard now that it is politically and societally incorrect to say retard?

I paid $140 for an oz of trainwreck last year, free shipping.

That's a 90's Sativa. It's ok... same buzz as Sour Diesel... another 90's super sativa.

Try Kandy Kush next time. One parent is Trainwreck, the other a super frosty OG. Amazing hybrid bred by the guys at DNA/Reserva Privada. Those guys do most of my favourite strains these days. Holy Grail, Kosher Kush, OG #18, Chocolope, Sour Kush, Sour Tangie, Kandy Kush and quite a few more cup winners. They are the most awarded breeders in the world right now.

Barrie's overrated, he will put up good numbers with good players but he won't carry a team.

I wouldn't be surprised if he shattkirks after UFA next year.

JV , Tanev and Baertschi etc... sure but not a 1st round pick.

MEh, I support our government stores now. For years we wanted legal weed so i don't mind paying a premium. I don't smoke nearly as much these days anyways. I've had the Kandy Kush, it was fun.

If he is re-signed, better then. Would give JB a year to pick up a 1st rounder as replacement in the draft. Also, bye bye Tanev for an asset if Barrie is picked up.

Avs are looking for toughness up front it is rumoured. Maybe they reach a ways on Jake. Van would just keep getting softer and lighter... not a fan of that.

Meh. Jake is a bigger p$ssie than Barrie

According to Adrian Dater, Tanev is in the mix in this deal.

Tanevs value is likely absolute max a 2nd rounder. Tanev would be. Small piece. Tanev Virtanen plus a lottery protected first is fair

I'm sticking to indica all day to stay calm. I'm usually sativa heavy hybrids for the day but this desperate management team & ownership scare the crap out of me. Got some grapefruit wheatbeers to help with dry mouth. Hard bar around 4:30. Should be a complete mess by the time the Canucks pick.

Ohhh boy, what's the worst that can go wrong with trading away future 1st round picks.

If we want to move into the top 5 it will require one of Horvat, Boeser, Hughes or Demko in that trade.

No way.

It’s strange that fans are even contemplating it.

It really is. I get that good top 4 Dmen are a commodity now but so is scoring which we need badly lol

Canucks are definitely getting closer but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The defense is still a hot mess and there’s a massive need for a couple more top six wingers. Not to mention it was recently publish that Vancouver has one of the least effective bottom six groups as far as producing offence in the entire league.
- Pacificgem

Good summary overall. The D is what makes us look worse than what we are. Up front we need more pieces yes of course but remaking the D alone will get more production from lines 1-4.

Yes you would have to be off your rocker to trade on of our top 4 players/prospects to move into the top 5 draft.

Bottom line is they need better players, Benning hasn’t been renewed for a reason, beyond drafting well, which shouldn’t be that difficult when drafting top seven (5-5-6-7) in his five years, largely a product of Brackett imo, he hasn’t really made the team significantly better through other measures.
- Pacificgem

Benning hasn’t been renewed cuz drafting takes time to show results. Turning over the roster was a big job. Remaking the D the biggest job of all with what he had to work with & not having the assets to improve. D are costly to attain. So many moving parts & tasks were needed to get done it’s just starting to show where it’s leading. How JB does on remaking the D will decide his fate more than likely. With the cap advantage & the looming e-draft on the horizon this year & next will define his & the Canucks rebuild.

LeBrun just said on 1040 that Colorado wants a top six forward for Barrie. Kinda puts us outta the running, no?
- Pacificgem

Yes unless a package to trade down for 16th imo.

Trouba still has a year, with no trade clauses and will be an RFA. He had zero say I’m where he was traded.

Edit. Looks like he’s just an RFA, no term left
