To me that sounds like a possible deal to move up a couple spots. Jim said they had 5 players kind of the top targets I believe. Guessing if any of those 5 drop to 7 that he might trade up. If they are all gone that he has plenty of options to trade down "if the players are comparable".

I think player/coach conflict with the highest paid bum on the roster to the extent that trade demands might be involved are important.

The AVs are in a bit of a different situation. They aren't deserving of a #4 pick, they just got it by outmaneuvering another club. I'm not saying they fall for that deal, but they have elite talent and might trade down given the opportunity to win now and later.
