All I'm saying is that JB can hit like he did with Pearson and Leivo and get a RHD that can help out and a decent winger for Bo. Doesn't have to be top end UFA's
It's what we need at this point. Now I agree don't get too crazy but we can acquire a RHD and a winger for Bo and it doesn't need to be top 4 D or a top 6 winger. But it would be nice lol - LordHumungous
You guys should listen to the Weisbrod interview. He said they have gone over 2,4,6 years projecting cap hits and salaries. They are on top of the cap.
He said they are getting an unusual amount of calls from other GMs asking us to utilize our cap space. We are looking very serious at the options that make sense and should be able to fix some holes .
He said we are well of the over payments of Free Agency and that is the last resort. if we can not fill needs in trading .
It was a very promising interview. His voice got excited when he talked about trading up.
He said it would need to be an insanely good deal for them to trade away the tenth but trading up is an option (high pitched) and we have been getting a lot of calls about trading down.

I downloaded it for when I get home. Anything but TV is palatable while I go through fishing withdrawal.
He will have a bounce back year, playing more manageable minutes, and will be thought of as a good mentor for Woo, Joulevi, Rathbone, Utanen and the rest of the dynamite crew. Two years, $7.8m, that will be 7th Dman money in two years.
