I knew that contract was negative value. Not sure what to make of Tolvanen.. B+, A- prospect? I see him developing as a middle 6 forward. We need those. So fine.

It's a big ask, which makes me think they are no where close to a deal.

I noticed we completely disagree on jbotts future.

He has done very little to improve this team.
Mostly working on killing off terrible contracts the past 2 seasons.

I don't disagree with JBott's future. No one knows it. I disagree with the idea that he lost on purpose. But you know that.

And, obviously, everyone 'wants' Dahlin. Win, lose, and everything in between, 31 teams want him.

Both 'awards' were a year ago and both players have declined/not improved in that span. Their on ice value isn't really where it used to be. It has the potential to be a good buy low option, or a terrible overpay.

It's just in talking stages regarding all the players that were mentioned, he knows the roster has to change but will do it accordingly.
