Wondering now that hawks got matta if hawks could package dahlstrom forsling to maybe Detroit for one their 2nd rounders or some other team that needs d depth or just defense man in general. - Scott1977
The Hawks have so many bottom pair defenders still on the books (not to mention having a few guys in Rockford that might be close) that you would expect this is where most of their movement is going to come from. |

Puck shot on goal from outside the red line, if goalie freezes the puck — no line change |

No need for McNabb with the Maatta trade. Would have preferred him over Maatta. Vegas is in serious cap trouble. Something like the rights to Perlini and Forsling plus a 2nd for next year. He is worth more but screw them. They NEED to move players.
Oh and think its between Turcotte and Byram. With Dach and Zegras as sleepers. Its going to be one of those four. - Elbows15

If goalie knocks off the net on breakaway, automatic goal! - walleyeb1

Players who lose their helmet during play - and don’t have a chance to play the puck - will either have to go to the bench or put his helmet back on, or will be hit with a minor penalty.
Players who attempt to deliberately knock off an opponent’s helmet in light of this rule can also receive a minor penalty. |

I hate automatic goals.
Puck should have to actually cross the line.
It should be a PS and PP.
But then - I think all PSs should have a PP attached, made PS or not. |

Perlini sucks and Forsling is lost. Its a 2nd for a 50 point solid 2-way center.
Yeah, massive. - Elbows15
Both Forsling/Perlini could thrive under Gallant
I know I'm alone on this but I think Forsling turns the corner
this year.

I like Forsling. Hawks have enough depth there to take the chance for player like Karlsson. Perlini ain't turning no corner. There is no fight in that dog. |

Expanded coaches’ challenge. Third category added: allow challenges of missed stoppages of play in offensive zone leading to a goal. |

This is what they were doing all day on the day before the draft.
Consequences of being wrong is automatic two-minute penalty. Second unsuccessful challenge is a double-minor. |

Missed stoppage is only black and white calls: hand passes, puck in netting, etc. Not talking about missed penalties. |

Second change is: for major and match penalties. Ref who made call will review it, and will confirm if either major or minor. But it must be at least a minor. |

For high-sticking, ref who called it can make sure it was not own player or wrong player. Again, official on-ice will have final call. |

I have special edition yellow melted ice from TD garden when I marked that b***h and the Stan plan came to fruition
I peacocked all over that trash arena - Stan_Bowman
That is a beautiful vision...
I want to see Stan peacock up to that stage in Vancouver tomorrow night and drop some Stan-plan nasty on that draft... |

43 goals and 78 points in 2017/18 and 56 points last season. If he’s your 3C, you’re probably a Stanley Cup favorite. - EnzoD
"Little Lars" or "Wild Bill", whatever you want to call him, would be an awesome add. My guess is his next deal is 8 years, $52-54 million (aav 6.5-6.75). He can be a 30 goal scorer, great possession player, Selke vote potential, kills penalties. Not great on faceoffs, however.
Would definitely mean AA gone. Net additional cap space couple million per year.
If such a deal were to go down, either Strome won't get a long term deal, or Hawks aren't drafting a C tomorrow. |

Marc Crawford is going to mold Perlini into a man... one screaming rage session after another...

One rule change I would like to see is when a penalty shot is called - the team getting the penalty shot would have the option of taking the penalty shot or getting a 2 minute power play. Depending on the game situation - the team may want to take 2 minutes off the clock rather than taking a chance of not scoring on the penalty shot and no time coming off the clock. |

Too long. Though, TBF, until the Rose injury they actually looked like a team that might go somewhere. They aren't going anywhere with GarPax at the helm and Reinsdorf still kicking. - Elbows15
