I agree with that. I think he’s better with his stick than you’re giving credit for but he can’t fight through hits. I know he’s not super young but I think there’s still a chance for him to get stronger

How did that work in the post season especially the final again? There are better options in the system. There is noway Heinen should block some one such as Kuhlman, Senyshyn or Studnicka.

I’d say really good considering Heinen Coyle Mojo was the Bruins best line throughout the playoffs and they were one win away from the cup

He’s not flashy or gritty but he’s a very very smart player and he’s only gonna get better. Until he has a career year and wants to get paid, I want him in Boston

First of all, cause all hockey players get a "y" a the end of their name...
I don't hate Heiney, Heiney is sometimes great, but there is no consistency. Heiney gets behind the play, He's part of the bottom 6 that cant make the push for the next level, if he did, they would have never traded for Johansson

Again, this isn’t wrong but why are we treating Heinen like he’s a vet that is what he is? This was only his 2nd season. He’s still got room to improve

I'm with you. Dano is 2 years into a long and productive career.
Bergy loves the kid cause of his attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail.
If you have his seal of approval, you're set in Boston.

Gotta agree with Glove here. Perry might be worse than Backes at this point haha. I used to dream about a Lucic Krejci Perry line though. Would have loved him in his prime

He was injured most of last year.
I'd do a 1 or 2 year bonus laden contract with him.
Low base, high bonuses if achieved.
He's not done, and he'd score at least 25+ in our top 6.
I don't really don't care, but it makes for good conversation.

Bruins signed Backes 4 years too late, and they will be forever trying to find a new Cam Neely, such a rare combination of skill and size, but the thought was trying to get a big looch-Horton type for Krejci, and how'd that work out. What they need to do is trade Krecji. He's very replaceable, but teams will see a perceived value in him.

Anthony, love those breakdown charts. Can't believe how little saving they get if they buy him out.

Thanks!

Yeah, the cap relief next season is nice, but then you're stuck with dead cap space for those two seasons after his contract is up. Just doesn't make sense for the Bruins to do.

It had a lot more to do with Johansson and Coyle who are both fringe top 6 guys taking advantage of matchups. Heinen was a passenger on that line.
