What is the difference between 6.5 for 7, which everyone thought was ok and 7.1 million. Just 600K. This deal is overpriced but as long as there is no NMC we will be fine. That is what the 600K buys us, multiple ways out of the deal.

Problem is that the 6.5 was considered an fair overpayment, which you have to make to get an UFA guy. Hayes real value is probably around 5m.

Everybody freaking out and I just keep thinking about how this team hasn't done poop since 2012. At this point just win games.

All I know is that these moves should FINALLY fix a perennial bottom of the league PK.

My way isn’t? Off what factual evidence? Because you disagree just to disagree. You have zero idea what you’re talking about. You’re so full of poop, but the best part is you believe it. For every Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings there is an Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres, Arizona Coyotes, and New York Islanders.

You said the other day that the St. Louis Blues were further along then the Flyers last offseason. You had no idea what you were talking about, but you tried to sound smart. This time last year we were joking about how their pick nearly ended up a top 10 pick for the Flyers. The Flyers were the team with the better looking future. And then Blues continued to add and got ROR (a deal people like you scoffed at, which shows what you know). Then as they continued to struggle, they fired their coach (something else you advocated against last year). Then magically, after tinkering with the chemistry and adding a new voice, they took off.

So let me get this straight. The team that just won the Stanley Cup last week, who was worse off than the Flyers last offseason, added big time and small time pieces to their team by trading picks and spending money. Then halfway through their season, when they realized they needed a new voice, they fired their coach without hesitation and the rest is history. All stuff that you’re advocating against and yet you have the audacity to tell me I’m wrong. It just happened like 5 days ago.

You’re a joke. And before you come back with your Blues were in a better place last offseason argument, remember that they absolutely tanked at the end of last season and NO ONE in the hockey world thought they were in a better place than any other team.

Yea, now you move conversation and make it about me simply because you cant stand on your opinion. Complete with attributing comments to me and creating your own reality. Goes to your credibility.

7 x 7 for Provy. The more I think about it, I think Sanheim might take a bridge because in 2 years he could reallly cash in even higher average then Provy s. Ironically Niskanen will be off the books.

Hoping 6ish per for Provorov
4ish for Konechny and Sanheim
Under 2 for Laughton and Hartman

Keeping Lindblom and Patrick on the 3rd line will help keep them affordable next contract

I thought I read a tweet by McKenzie where Kapanen and Johnsson were signing 3 yr deals below 4 million, which both players would be a good benchmark for Konency. I m not as concerned about Lindblom and Patrick. Lindblom hasn t eclipsed 20 goals and Patrick hasn t been above 40 points yet. Even If both guys eclipse that mark, there both probably better off with a bridge deal.
