I have been a Flyers fan since 1997. I’ve had my issues with our coaches but I’ve never hated a GM until now. Paul Holmgren never made moves like these.

I think the next 2-3 years will be fun to watch, but the term on these UFA deals really hurts

Never turned the Wild into legit contenders. And he won’t do so in philly either.

I'm totally serious. As Marc correctly noted, Seattle's coming and they gotta take SOMEBODY. Let's put it this way: I won't be shocked if JVR and even Voracek aren't protected, because they're protecting four defensemen

Hayes will give them four or five value years. Could be ugly after that, but by then, Giroux and Voracek will very, very, very, very likely be gone or on significantly cheaper deals

The cap will go up some when Seattle starts. Might even be a Get Out of Jail Free Buyout when the next CBA gets done

The problem is gonna be Couturier in 2022, but that's three years down the line.

Provorov and Sanheim could be tough, but I don't know that it gets ugly before 2021
