just a thought, and I am probably the biggest fan of acquiring Adam Fox, but since there is so much depth on the blueline, maybe the most prudent thing to do next year is to keep Adam Fox in Hartford for 53 games next year, call him up for last 29 and keep that pick going to Carolina a 3rd rounder
but, it's just a thought, if he's obviously NHL ready in training camp, (frank) it - jimbro83
I think if we don't somehow get rid of shatty this is all but guaranteed to happen. No way Fox bumps Trouba, ADA or Shatty at this point. Obviously the preference is to get shatty out of here so that Fox can be inserted but I'd rather him in Hartford than as the 7th Dman playing every 5th game or so.

Maybe they’ll let Shattenkirk play 20 games or so until he has 1 good one then try and trade him immediately after the 1 good game.
I don’t think Shattenkirk to start the season on the 3rd pair is the worst thing in the world. Start Fox in Hartford and if he plays well bring him up and hopefully Shattenkirk has some trade value. Only problem is Shattenkirk/Staal is a disaster waiting to happen.
I'm being overwhelming by what seems to be a landslide (unofficial) vote that Jack Hughes will go Number One in the Entry Draft. Knowing that, I feel -- as in gut feeling -- that Joltin' Jack Hughes will wind up a @NYRanger

Delaware at least has a beach, Winnipeg has oil fields? Lots of snow? - 2sticks1puck
Not to belabor the Winnipeg sucks thing, but in a nutshell...
Winnipeg is a city of 700,000 people in a province of 1.3M. So, basically surrounded by endless farms in every direction.
And the province of Manitoba, while not heavily populated is about the size of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho and Utah combined.
So yeah, lots of moose. And not much else to do...anywhere short of a plane ride away...ever. Oh, and climate swings from +30's to -30's.

it's really amazing to think that the Oilers gave up Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson because they coveted a young potentially top pairing right handed defenseman and we got one for Neal Pionk.

and their mosquitoes are so big that you can make nice thick filets and BBQ them.
Have you been to Winnipeg???
I have to think that she may have found Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal or maybe even Calgary acceptable! - Tonybere
She will certainly have her pick of teaching hospitals in nyc - probably whatever hospital the rangers are affiliated.
Nice way for the rangers to get him to sign
he does a bit about being in the ER waiting room, something like on a scale of 1-10 whats the pain like I dunno other worldly it's also pretty funny - blueshirts_fan
oh yeah, I love that one, as someone who has driven myself to the emergency room under duress multiple times, it really gets me laughing
