just a thought, and I am probably the biggest fan of acquiring Adam Fox, but since there is so much depth on the blueline, maybe the most prudent thing to do next year is to keep Adam Fox in Hartford for 53 games next year, call him up for last 29 and keep that pick going to Carolina a 3rd rounder
but, it's just a thought, if he's obviously NHL ready in training camp, (frank) it - jimbro83
That's a great idea. Let Fox spend the majority of the season with the Pack.

If you think about the Dpairs in 2 years (after the Ssshyt trio are gone), it looks terrific:
Skjei-Trouba
Miller-Fox
Hajek-DA/Nils
Lindgren/Rykov/Keane
It reminds me a lot of St Louis right now, which is ideally how you want your defense nowadays. Mobile big men and faster puck movers, a combo of both
I realize, we do need a lot to happen for it to be considered a good/great D, a lot would be depending on Miller and Fox. But on paper it looks really nice down the road
Just realized, 5 Americans on D - Slimtj100
That's potentially a very good D corps right there. They, along with our future goalie tandem should be ready to compete for the Cup When the 3S and Hank aren't in their way.
I just to a segment on NHL radio with "Boomer and Hahn" and they had a real female dog fest that all these young American players always want to be Rangers

So in summary, Canadian players want to be Leafs or Habs= Good
Americans wanting to be Rangers=Bad
