I don't like the price for Braun but one area that was not good for the D corp was experience and I mean D that expects to be in the playoffs every year, even cup experience. We now have 2 D who expect to be in the playoffs every year.

Outside of the first round - and may be second round (in a deep draft year) - it's a crap-shoot whether the prospect will play a day in the NHL. Sure, people can site a player or two that we're late round stars. But, this is a fluke. Over the years, the Flyers have done just as well signing non-drafted players.

If it were up to me, I'd always keep my 1st rounder and trade all the other picks to get another 1st rounder. (of course you can't do that... But, you get the point).

Morin would have to clear waivers to go to LHV. Very small chance he would clear. He stays on the Flyers. Meyers has one more waiver exempt year however.

Yeah Morin would be scooped immediately. He still has enormous upside. Not even saying he's like Chara but big man will take some time to develop into his potential. Look at Ottawa and the Fishsticks trading Chara before he really came into his own.

Absolutely a young dman is gone. I expect ghost or someone traded. I guess the idea is trade from that area of strength to help out the forward corp. problem I have is sending a 2nd and 3rd for a one year rental coming off a terrible year? Terrible.
