It makes no sense and Broberg at 8th is too high....if they are going to draft him they could easily trade down and still get him.....seems Edmonton media are also picking us to get Broberg at 8th so where there is smoke perhaps? If they do draft Broberg I wouldn’t be surprised to see a LHD moved

Remember how after the Hall trade we got bombarded with "haha, Gardiner 4 McDavid"? Well, as with those idiots back then, it's dumb to impose the result of one trade a team makes on every future trade.

They have 25mil to sign Connor, Laine and Copp and add a one or two top-4 D- depending on how they feel about Pionk as a 2RD.

See, the odd thing is I had no thought that we'd even be considering the possibility of taking a Dman with the 1st so I did next to no research on those available. For me, it was Byram or a forward. I've now gotta dig into what little game tape I can find and try to determine who I like more. So far, I like Heinola most.
