I would like Hoglander but doubtful he would be there. Beecher or Vlasic will probably be my choice. I think Knight goes to Calgary at 26 or Carolina at 28.

I don't post often anymore due to career and other such excuses but figured I'd drop a tiny bit of info I heard tonight while out with my friend who works in PSE. We were in on Trouba but sounded like he wasn't interested in a contract extension with us so we backed out. Last offer he heard was Bryson and #31

I don't think Knight goes in the top 20. Lots of other players teams will lean to drafting. But ya never know.

Yeah I never thought we were a serious contender for Trouba from the beginning.

Haven't read much about projected late first round picks to have a strong opinion on any of them. Vlasic is a big lad. I do like the idea of adding a d-man with this pick to go with the center (Dach, Cozens or Zegras) they get at #7.

Yeah, they very well might. I don't put too much faith in all those late round picks becoming NHL defensemen.

Always like taking forwards in the first round, but maybe a d-man is the smart move.

I agree though that they will stick to their list and take BPA.
