Yea I was mostly joking, any ranger fan who hates this is just trolling at this point. Top pair RHD men 25 years old don’t just become available all the time

I really thought it was a fake trade at first, my first thoughts were "what an ass hole"

I also thought it was also a fake trade Jim, but only as to whom the Rangers only had to part with in an active player(s) at this point still 4 days ahead of the Draft, in addition to returning to the Jets their 20th overall pick they sent us in part at this past's trade deadline to acquire Hayes. I then found the trade to be real through the hockey brain trust sources' words in Canada, (as opposed to Larry Brooks in key here).

So I first immediately phoned a reputable trusted, fellow hockey player who I exchanged phone numbers with, when playing against him and his team from Manitoba in a hockey tournament about 3 years ago. He was unavailable, and just called me back about an hour after the trade became officially announced, and was still in shock along with his buddies, that the Jets didn't receive instead of Pionk, either Deangelo plus Buch, or Vesey plus Andersson instead. That, including if they would have earlier or today allowed the Rangers, (or any other potential teams interested), to first discuss new contract terms with Trouba, which the Jets had never permitted.

All must be happy here right now, except for tommytankeroni "lose for hughes".
