I was honestly shocked that someone gave EK that money and term. Skinner was an over payment, but if you were the Buffalo GM what choice did he have really?

The EK contract is HORRIBLE.

It isn't just defense. It is help with the cap.

Getting rid of Zaitsev and Marleau is the biggest problem. They are either going to give up good assets, or take back bad money. That is what at least 2 of Kadri/Nylander/Kapanen/Johnsson are gone.

I was thrilled to hear that the Jets moved Trouba yesterday... its happened early (wake up Dubas)...

so likely other teams will shift interest to Myers and Gardiner.

HOPEFULLY someone signs Gardiner to a nice fat contract - and Dubas can't
