So what's Edler want 7 years probably?
- Bettmanhatesus

Why the (frank) wouldn't he just accept a trade at the deadline then if he knew he was going to go through this anyways.

Why would they trade such a quality prospect for scraps?

Wow the jets just got bent over. Pionk and a 1st for Trouba?! What a joke. I can’t believe how lopsided this is.

This is borderline incoherent nighty.

Edler will resign, his agent is just doing his job.

Considering the market, Edler should be able to command a big contract but he's been pretty clear that he wants to stay.

I would pay him 7 x 2 NTC but my guess is he gets 6 x 4 modified NTC.

Jb pretty much said it's not happening again with what happened with the Sedin's.

Meier is an interesting player to go after but I think I would be seeing if Hertl could be acquired.

Would be a legit winger/center to play in the top 6 and only 25.

SJ frees up 8+

Hertl and Braun for Virtanen and Joulevi and a 2nd?

Everyone said the Sedins weren't replaceable yet they were. Edler will be replaced even more easily, there are jobs and ice time available, all depends who wants to step up and take it.

I doubt that but I do think last year was as good as he will ever be again.

I'm perfectly happy moving on from him, but just can't see Benning doing it. He needs to make playoffs this year.

Then I don’t think you have any clue what we’re in for with Hughes running sh!t w/ extra ice.

Bro. Do your dekes. 💗BOTCH

Wrong. Broberg is not good value at 10. A forward is a must unless we can get Byram. By the way Seider is the 2nd best D. Fast 6'4" Right shot D that can hammer the puck and has great vision. Just use this list as reference for your further opinions.Ben Kuzma

Ben Kuzma Retweeted Bro. Do your dekes. 💗BOTCH
A prominent NHL scout told me he likes Seider ahead of Soderstrom and is wary of Broberg’s game transitioning to long-term NHL career.

NHL scouts tell me second-pairing Ds trump second-liners. Zegras, Krebs may have higher ceilings, but if they’re off board as BPAs, and if Boldy is a 2L/LW and still there, it will be interesting. But they like Soderstrom/Broberg.

legit 2nd pairing D are harder to find, also harder to project too.

You ever work out of town for a long stretch when your family is rooted? It’s a difficult thing to do bro. Besides going through this is just business.

I'll admit, I'm generally pessimistic when it comes to these kids and he looked pretty dynamic at times last year but there's no way in hell he's turning the PP into one of the best in the league by himself.

Edler has his faults but he was pretty good last year on the PP. Teams at least need to respect his shot, which won't happen with Hughes.

Do you think Hughes gets the 17 PP points next year on the PP that Edler did?

That was in only 56 games so prorated to 25 or so?

I work a week on week off schedule which most of the time involves me being away. It's not that difficult.
