Maybe CFL

But I cannot imagine a 50 year old getting sacked on a blitz by a late linebacker.
Dude will probably just turn to dust.

Vince will pay him out the ass. He will have a bounty out on anyone /who touches him, remember:it isn't real football if it's vince mcmahon.

Nighthawk puts out multiple trade or acquisitions proposals as discussion points, he constantly is asking for others opinions. He takes a lot flack for constantly posting rosters or proposing trades and he is at times ridiculed.

Most of the posts against his proposals are to have patience and draft and develop. Then another team makes a trade, today Trouba, and the patient draft and develop crowd starts to criticize Benning for sitting on his hands while players get moved about.

The patient draft and develop crowd also want a complete overhaul of the backend, but under no circumstances are any of the defense man available desirable.

The whole narrative by most here is head spinning, get rid of Edler, Tanev, Hutton, Biega, do not sign Trouba, Gardiner, Myers, so that leaves Hughes and Stecher

Get rid of Granlund, Goldobin, Sutter, Beagle, Schaller, Spooner, and only use present prospects and possible draft picks from getting rid of the already mentioned, because Benning can’t be trusted to make a trade or sign a UFA.

As I said, fcuking head spinning

He’d probably do well in this league....

Flyers thread in chaos over the Braun trade. lol
- Reubenkincade

The arguments in there remind me a lot of the ones we used to have in here when Benning was trading away draft picks like candy.

The optimists: “the team got better today, do you really want to rush the kids or bring back the same lousy vets?”

The pessimists: “why the hell are we trading away draft picks when we just missed the playoffs and far from contending?”

Just a few days ago there was a report that the Winnipeg Jets were now listening on offers for speedy forward Nikolaj Ehlers, and today more news came out about his potential future. Frank Seravalli of TSN writes that “the belief is” Ehlers has been offered to the Carolina Hurricanes in an attempt to pry free one of their right-handed defensemen

I doubt that but I do think last year was as good as he will ever be again.

I'm perfectly happy moving on from him, but just can't see Benning doing it. He needs to make playoffs this year.

Good reason to move on from injury plagued players.

So the 10th pick is on TSN's trade board.

I seem to recall JB saying he wasn't moving the pick?

I don't think JB has any control over media speculation. Come on.... use your head.

Eastern media love trolling the Canucks. It’s kind of amusing. Like out of all the first round pics only the Canucks might be traded?? Also it’s almost certain as it’s number ten on their board league wide!! LMFAO

If Hart is as good as he looks, they aren’t that far imo.

That is why I found it so funny, all fanbase act/react the same way, some are upset, some are ok with it, some just don't worry about it.

Isn’t TSN Canada's national dart broadcaster? That and CFL replays?

Carol made her pick:

With the 16th overall pick, the Vancouver Canucks select DEL D Moritz Seider

Rationale for the selection:

Jan and I were discussing the possibility of me trading down again for the Rangers' 20th pick when the news broke that the real-life pick had been dealt to Winnipeg in exchange for Jacob Trouba. I told him he could still have No. 16 if he sent Trouba to Vancouver — signed to a new long-term extension, of course.

Not surprisingly, no dice on that offer. So, the Canucks will have to draft a big righty of their own.

Seider is already a monster, physically—6'3" and 208 pounds even though he just turned 18 in April. He has already logged a year of playing against men in the German league, and held his own nicely with the German national team at the World Championship.

Seider did miss several games after being checked hard into the boards during the round-robin phase, but returned for Germany's quarterfinal game—and then went on to do very well at the fitness testing at the Combine, placing in the top five in aerobic fitness test duration, VO2Max and wingspan. He's a big boy who can cover a lot of ice and has an engine that should let him log huge minutes.

Seider also won over media members at the combine with his outgoing personality. I wouldn't select him for that trait alone, but it's a nice touch for a player with such an impressive toolbox.

'If you want a big right shot defenceman who can skate well, I’m your guy,' Seider said at the Combine.

As I suspected when I traded down, there are a few different players available to tempt me at 16. I'm high on Spencer Knight's future as a franchise goaltender, and I think Alex Newhook is brimming with potential, but I can't argue with Seider's rationale.

The Canucks do want a big right-shot defenceman who can skate well. Welcome aboard, Moritz!

I don't think it's trolling as much as it is ignorance. We're Timbuktu to them. So far away the city seems almost imaginary. No harm in:

a) knowing nothing about what's going on there
b) making uninformed comments regarding what does go on there
c) ignoring any complaints about such ill-advised comments
d) having an odd sense of superiority over anyone from there

As for reports that the #10 pick may be available, JB sure has a lot of plates and stuff spinning at the moment.

It should be treated as such. Point is... it doesnt matter what JB says.... they will flood the market with speculation on the subject anyways.
