Hayes: 7 years younger, 55pt career high vs. Nelson's 53pt career high and the Isles signed Nelson for $14M less than Hayes |

I think the Lehner hold up is his agent wants a long term deal and Lou looking at Robins past wants a short term keep proving you can stay clean deal.
They will agree on a term and get it done before it gets ugly imho.
Lee that’s the tough one at this point that everyone thought was a slam dunk.
Still think it gets done. |

I cannot blame Lou at all. Robin really needs to show more for a long term deal. Lee is a tough one and I can also understand Lou not wanting to give too much term to Lee. |

I get both sides. If your lehners camp you played great and stayed clean last year and on Lou’s (Isles) side you have to worry about about hanging the Isles #1 goalie position and trust on him. I think a deal will get done

Sorokin possibly coming over next year is a factor as well. A 3 year deal for Robin to me is more than fair. I would love to see more 3 year type deals but hockey might need a long work stoppage for that to happen. We might be on the way with this Hayes deal. |

According to Lehner nothing has even been discussed yet. I also think it’ll get done along with Lee as well. |

What's the point in discussing things when you can just torch all your leverage through the media? |

She is getting a concealed carry soon, you better be nice. - mdw7413
Hot.
Oh and mine has her restricted as well, though is legally unable to get a concealed carry. Thus the doppelgänger effect continues.
Both share the same general shape, hair colour and appearance. His due to suffering from a tragic gravy addiction, mine due to the harsh Canadian climate.
Both are fitness/kickboxing instructors, which doesn’t jive with the above narrative, but (frank) it.
Both are fond aficionados of small arms, and routinely remind MDW and I of this when it’s time to do dishes.
Both hate hockey with a passion. Mine does so in a conventional manner, while MDW’s does so by choosing to be a Ranger fan.
(frank)ing eerie, eh? |

😂
Well ultimately he doesn’t have to accept an offer so that’s not necessarily true. Him throwing that out there is publicly telling the fan base I want to stay here but nobody has even called me. If anything he’s leveraging the islanders and pushing his agenda. I’m assuming Lameriello isn’t too happy about it. |

Isles will be set if Lee does the same thing. - ses111
Lee will not, and nor should he. If Lou won’t pony up the cash to keep him, then Holland will.
It has been arranged. |

I know, I'm mostly joking. But it does seem like an odd thing to publicly announce if your negotiation hasn't even started yet. But in reality, it's great news and I think we're all reading into it a little too far |

I'm not sure about that. Lenher didn't say anything harmful to the team. |

Moose (frank)ed my bear fence while I was sleeping. This resulted in a large bear getting past the fence, after which he decided to get into my screened in porch. Got all this poop sorted out by 5:25 AM.
Kinda hard to go back to sleep after all that though.
Now tell me more about this whiskey. |

No he didn’t but Lou as we all know is a private person and doesn’t leak anything to the press. I remember him losing his shat in the past with players that leaked stuff to the press on those Stanley cup devils teams. |
