Once one signs you'll start seeing others is my feeling. I don't really have a worry about Provorov right nw as none of they above have a new deal yet. I see provorov probably around what Werenski and McAvoy get.

This will not be an easy deal and it is tied to McAvoy directly I am told. The attitude around the Flyers is very much a "No BS" one right now....which won't help much in this case. Provorov doesn't want a bridge deal. Could be a holdout.

I would gamble a bit and offer Provy just under Ekblad money say 8 years 56M. However it is structured is fine but he could potentially cost more after a bridge deal.

I am not worried about him bouncing back since he has a high worth ethic and is a team guy.

TSN/Dreger reporting that the cap could come in below $83. I can't imagine how much lower but this may cause some teams to pump the brakes and wait. Cap was released on June 21 last year. They need to have the figure prior to the draft.

That s a very good point. I think with inflation Werenski s agent is going to push closer to 7 million per yr
