but.. we can't keep Hall AND do that, so it's one or the other. Plenty of pros to keeping Hall.. and plenty of pros to trading Hall.

No, they’re both equally interested.

One of the biggest assets I'm guessing the Jets are looking for is a first round pick.

He could get moved before the draft to one of the teams in the 8-16 range for a first and a top up (a prospect) or a roster center.

If that deal doesn't happen, then I think NJ might come into play.

I think there's a trade to be made from Philadelphia.

Wouldn't trade Severson locked up for 4 million per for 4 more seasons straight up for RFA Trouba, let alone Severson+. Just wouldn't make sense from the Devils perspective.

Just my opinion, but why trade decent players/prospects for some one you will then have to overpay for the value he has. Hard pass, unless he comes cheap, say like for a third round pick - and that is one-for-one.

Ray mentioned a few times drafting a player at a position that we do not necessarily need because it will allow the "shuffling" of players. So I wonder if this means Zacha will be moved, since Zajac aint going anywhere.

I'm still completely in the dark about who Ray's going to go after. I highly doubt Nyquist; he'll get overpaid. Nyquist is, to me, a 45 point winger who had a good year, and not worth much more than 4.5M/y.

This team still needs a D that can chew up minutes way better than Vatanen and Greene can, and a RW with some possession/puck retrieval to his game. He's probably got team scopes set on Karlsson, but as for forwards, I have no clue.

I can't imagine a free agent who can play in a top six role making less the $5M these days. If someone doesn't want Eberle, that's fine; but thinking he was going to get substantially less money seems a bit naïve.

If Taylor Hall has indicated he's not signing long term in NJ we might see as massive trade at the draft. Nashville will gladly give us Subban Plus....
