#NHLJets have agreed to terms with forward Joona Luoto on a three-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $758,300.

Luoto, 21, has played the last three seasons in Liiga with Tappara.


Today is the last day to sign IIHF free agents .

considering some of the other topics that get discussed in here, I don't understand the anger over the NBA finals being discussed a bit.


I get that some of you hate Toronto with a passion, but considering the viewership ratings and the amount of packed viewing parties from coast to coast, it's safe to say that this was more than a Toronto thing. The Raptor players, coaches, management themselves even mentioned Canada more than Toronto in their interviews last night.

I’m not sure where you get the anger part from, it’s well documented that I am not a fan of Toronto but that’s a personal thing, and I have my own reasons.

Anyone can bring up pretty much whatever topic they want here, but you have to accept that others are going to post their opinions, whether in favour or against.

And I cannot help it if you interpret my posts as coming off angry, but I don’t post that way.

By the way I think most of the Canada team thing is bandwagon crap, I’ve been in Whistler that last week, game 5 was blaring in every outdoor patio, game 6 was quite with music on every patio. They were just trying to capitalize on the home court advantage and didn’t give a sh!t when back in Golden State, which made me extremely happy to have a quiet meal with my lovely wife.

It is very tough to do seeing we don't know what it will look like in September.

I think all along Benning knew what he was doing last year and this year. He knew Hutton Edler Tanev Pouliot Biega and Gudbrandson would all be coming off the books soon.

This was the year for change IMO. Last year was a one more year and we can upgrade next year season.

I won't convince anyone and everyone will think it was just another terrible year but he knew he had Woo Hughes Juolevi in the waiting. I think by the end of 2020 the Canucks D won't resemble anything like last year. I even think Stecher is just a stop gap.

I think Hutton is gone this year and probably Biega and Tanev and Edler and Stecher have two years left.
