The save with his back ... that was crazy! - I Am The Breadman
Yeah I think the Blues are going to have a hard time duplicating our two goals in 17 seconds. |

Good luck I've never tried it. Let us know how it turns out - paulr
It turned out ok, we’re still figuring out the best smoking strategies. Duck is a bit fatty and greasy but overall I enjoyed it. |

Agreed, hahaha! Only one of those. If Blues score, it's because ROR is on the ice. |

If the Blows can get one by Rask and a big IF because he's locked in. I think the Blows will Hoist the Cup tonight. I hate both of these teams. But I would rather have St. Louis win. However I would still laugh my ass off if they choked in 7 games. |

Did you brine the duck first or just put it on the smoker? What temp and what kind of wood did you use?
I'm smoking a brisket next weekend. I'll start it at about 11:00 pm on Friday night and it should be ready between 2 and 4 pm on Saturday. I'll cheat and wrap it in butcher paper when the internal temp hits about 260. |

Absolutely it did. After that seeing puck went through. This series is going back to Bean Town and I think the Bruins will have all the momentum and probably win it. |

But:
This has been a road team series - if Boston holds on tonite, 4 of 6 games have gone to the visitors.
Blues will be 6-7 at home, but 9-3 on the road this tournament.

I can’t wait to try smoking brisket, but I want to get a bit better at it first. |

You can throw all those stats out the window in game7. Honestly it's a free for all play hard and leave it on the ice anything goes . |

What’s Stan’s best shot at getting two top ten picks? Detroit?
Detroit is light on impact defensemen prospects....
Boqvist + Kahun for the 6th overall?
Stan drafts Byram at 3 and one of Turcotte, Cozens, or Zergas at 6? - Bjm84
Those are thought provocative ideas and perhaps something resembling your.exact proposals could work.
I say "exact" because i am curious if Detroit surrenders such a glorious draft pick for just a nice nhl player - whom in big picture does not help them win much more than they would without him - and the quite likely scenario wheras Boqvist is two seasons development before he plays NHL
If i am Detroit i woukd rather grab two dmen off Chicago, though in reality it is more likely one nhl + prospect.
I absolutely love your enthusiadm and i really wish we could have two #1 picks. Those type of trades rarely shake out like you propose. Also does Stan love his Boqvist selection or is he stir crazy with this deep first round. I think it is more likely that he trades Gus. And that is only a 50/50 proposition at most.
But i really like your idea. |

i said the blows would have to win at least two in bean town to have a chance...now its 3...good luck...
rask will have to be great again and he probably will...
it seems that home game pressures have been to much for the home team...bruins need to handle it better |

the bortuzzo BS at the end of the game highlights another problem with the nhl...
end of game jerkbag stuff like that is given a "freebie"...that should be a game misQ and automatic suspension |

Let's look at this from another point - of -view.
One which can be delicable but hopefully not causing gastrointestinal discomfort
Typically the mayor or someone from each city wagers a specialty or highly recognized or favored local dish if they win/loose.
What was brought forth from the menu from both cities. Or what do you nominate? Any good rib smoker offering in St Louis? I just know there is something beside clam.chowder emanating from the Boston quarters |

Don’t need anything more than a good chowder and a lobster roll - cold.... |
