I’d much rather lock in one of those high ceiling elite skillset guys than trade back & wind up with Seider & a 2nd rounder (& I was by far his biggest booster in here until recently).

He's not the player I want, and Benning is stupid but I'm not sure taking Podzolkin at 10 is crazy.

You do inow judd was here before Jim, right? It’s Jims show. He sets how players will be evaluated. That goes for pro scouting and really all staff. Did Yzerman build tb? Yes. Of course he did and he had plenty of help. It’s a huge collaborative effort, but he still gets the most credit even though other guys in the organization spent more of their time scouting. At the end of the day:JB built the new core just like Burke/Nonis built the old one

My wife gets like that. She would never move far from her family and home. I am the opposite. I would have no issue with packing up and moving across the world let alone the country. That said I have no problem staying where I am at either.
